What to Expect
Do you ever wish you could have your favorite sushi rolls any day of the week? Now you can learn how to make sushi in this sushi-making class in NYC! Making sushi is one of the highest arts found in Japanese cuisine. Learn how to choose fresh ingredients, prepare the components and roll the perfect roll with your chef.
Begin the class with a light and flavorful miso soup with seaweed, radish, tofu, and scallions. Next, comes an assortment of sushi: spicy tuna, Alaskan rolls, and your classic California roll. You’ll finish on a sweet note with a delicious matcha ice cream.
If you want a fun activity for your next event, sushi making is an easy hands-on activity your guests will love. Your chef will teach you basic sushi-making skills to create your sushi rolls with confidence. Don’t worry if you’ve only tried sushi in Japanese restaurants in NYC, your chef will provide you with expert guidance in an easy-going and engaging environment. At the end of class, you’ll get to enjoy your sushi rolls with your classmates!
Soon you’ll be trying out your own creative takes on your sushi rolls. By the end of class, you’ll have the confidence to recreate these recipes at home and have sushi night any time!

- Feel free to reschedule or cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before your class begins.
- Between 48 to 24 hours prior, we’re happy to help you reschedule.
- Please note, within 24 hours of the class, we won’t be able to offer rescheduling or refunds.
We kindly ask that you arrive on time; unfortunately, we can’t accommodate arrivals more than 20 minutes late as it disrupts the class flow. - Classes require a minimum of 4 people to run. In the case that the minimum is not reached, we’ll send you an email/SMS to notify you. You’ll have the option for a refund or to reschedule.
